During your session, I will work with your comfort and tolerance to journey through superficial layers of skin, fascia, and muscle tissue into deeper layers of muscle, tendons, and viscera (addressing one layer at a time, following the tissue melt). This experience is warming, gentle, and effective in increasing circulation, promoting serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins, while reducing stress hormones like cortisol, and inflammation in the body. This massage provides relief of pain, tension, and injury; and often results in improved sleep, better clarity and focus, reduced stress and anxiety, and improved flexibility. This experience may be elevated upon request by adding hot stones, aromatherapy, steamed towels, cupping, and gua sha to your session. please indicate these requests in the notes section when booking your appointment.

This massage works on the soft tissue muscles of the face, neck, mouth, and tongue from both inside and outside the mouth. I use this technique relieves the fascia under the tongue (base of the tongue and floor of the mouth) for ease of Breathing (airway), chewing, and swallowing. It also balances the TMJ area to alleviate pain and discomfort, while relieving tension and balancing the muscles for chewing. I also utilize manual lymphatic drainage to remove the toxins and puffiness often experience post-surgery.

I Continue with a massage of the neck, chest, shoulders, face and head to relieve tension and open release muscular tension and fascial restrictions to further aide in improved posture and range of motion.

Has long lasting effects especially when combined with breathing and myofunctional therapy. While I do not perform myofunctional therapy myself, I have partners in the community that I coordinate care with.

I utilize Orofacial Recovery Therapy for the following conditions...
- Recovery from oral surgery to reduce swelling/ inflammation, scar tissue, adhesions, and increase circulation/ lymphatic function, and recover range of motion
-TMJ pain, disfunction, and malalignment
- Tension Headaches
- Migraines
- Trigeminal Neuralgia
- Whiplash
-Torticolis
- Bruxism/ clenching/grinding
